Garden

There's just a real joy and satisfaction from watching your garden grow and picking the first vegetables off the vines. Today I plucked 6 perfect green beans from my container garden. Not a bountiful harvest but it made me happy none the less. In a few more days I will be able to double that. I lost a few plants during the sprouting stage but I have a nice little variety of vegetables (& herbs) coming along quite well. I can't wait to start harvesting the others. There is lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, beets, strawberries, cantaloupe, cilantro and chives. Lovely!
